New production line for hot-rolled bars at Sidenor

After a successful test phase, our Spanish customer Sidenor has granted the final acceptance for the new fully automatic Bültmann production line supplied to the Basauri plant.

Thanks to this line, comprising pre-straightening equipment, shot-blasting unit, finish straightening machine, chamfering unit, NDT line, saw for faulty parts, special collecting cradle system and bundling/packing equipment, Sidenor will be able to increase their production by 100,000 tons per year in the diameter range 20 - 120 mm, while meeting the strictest requirements for surface and diameter tolerances.
