This state-of-the-art equipment provides the BÜLTMANN customer with decisive competitive advantages in terms of capacity, flexibility and quality.

Round bars of extruded brass alloys in the diameter range of Ø 15 – 80 mm are processed.

The ingoing bar lengths of 3 - 22 m are processed to finished dimensions of 3 - 5 m.

Depending on the bar dimensions and operating mode, an output of up to 32 t/h can be achieved.

The production line comprises the following sections:

- Drawing machine with infeed device and cutting unit

- 2-roll straightening and polishing machine with straightness measuring device

- Special sawing machine with high-speed sawing head

- Double chamfering unit

- Automatic packing and bundling equipment with bundle forming device, automatic strapping device, labelling device and bundle accumulator.

Thanks to a future-oriented layout planning, it is possible to upgrade the production line to square, hexagonal and octagonal materials in a next project step by adding further line components, in order to be able to react even more flexibly to customer requirements.

As is so often the case, great attention was paid to the "Industry 4.0"-compliant design when planning the equipment. For example, a user-friendly visualization of the individual machines as well as the entire plant is provided, enabling simple operation and fault diagnosis. In addition, interfaces for communication with the customer's Level 2 or production planning system are a prerequisite for higher-level plant control or monitoring, which in turn ensures maximum availability and high productivity.

A modern remote maintenance system completes the entire system concept and also enables the fastest possible troubleshooting accesses and the implementation of a preventive maintenance and repair concept to keep the line ready for production in the long run.

Also with this successful project the fair co-operation with the customer is to be mentioned, which considerably contributed to the complete success of this extensive and demanding project.
